This License Policy explains what you may and may not do with HTML templates sold by Code Blowing (the “Templates”). By purchasing or downloading a Template you accept and agree to the terms below. This is a summary-style policy intended for clarity — it is not a substitute for legal advice.

1. License Types — Quick Summary

  • Single-Site (Regular) License
Use the Template for one end product (one website or one web app). Permitted for client projects when purchased by an agency for a single client. No resale, sub-license, or redistribution allowed.
  • Multi-Site / Developer License
Use the Template for multiple end products (up to the license’s stated number). Intended for freelancers/agencies building multiple sites for different clients.
  • Extended / Redistribution License
Required only if you want to resell, redistribute, or include the Template inside a product that is sold as-is (for example: a resale marketplace, SaaS that lets customers download raw templates, or a template pack). Contact Code Blowing for details and pricing.

If you aren’t sure which license you need, choose the one that matches the number of distinct end products (websites/web apps) you will create using the Template.

2. Definitions

  • Template — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts (when included under permitted license), documentation, and any other files that are part of the purchased package.
  • End Product — A finished website or web application delivered to an end-user or client where the Template has been integrated or modified.
  • Resale / Redistribution — Selling, giving away, or making available the Template (or substantial parts of it) in source form for others to reuse as templates.

3. Permitted Uses

Under the appropriate license you may:

  • Use, modify, adapt, and combine the Template to build one or more End Products as allowed by your license type.
  • Distribute or transfer an End Product to a client as part of a custom project (client does not receive rights to redistribute the Template source).
  • Use the Template for personal, commercial, client, or internal business websites (as long as redistribution is not performed).
  • Include compiled/minified versions of Template assets within a delivered project (minified frontend files are permitted).
Examples of permitted use
  • Building a marketing website for a client and delivering the completed site to the client (Single-Site license).
  • Building 10 different client websites using the Template if you purchased a 10-site Developer license.

4. Prohibited Uses (What the License DOES NOT Allow)

Unless you obtain an Extended / Redistribution License or express written permission:

  • You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Template in source (editable) form.
  • You may not include the Template as a standalone product in a theme pack, template marketplace, or “template” section of a SaaS product where end users can download the original Template files.
  • You may not claim the Template (or significant parts of it) as your own original work.
  • You may not remove or alter any copyright, trademark or license notices included with the Template.
  • You may not use included third-party assets (fonts, icons, images) beyond their own license terms — check included asset licenses for additional restrictions.
  • You may not use the Template in a way that violates applicable laws.

5. Attribution

Attribution is not required for usage in finished websites unless otherwise stated in the Template documentation or required by a third-party asset included in the package. If attribution is required by a third-party asset (e.g., certain fonts or images), you must follow the third-party license terms.

6. Support, Updates & Bug Fixes

  • Purchasing a license gives you access to the Template package and the version you purchased.
  • Support (help with installation, customization, or bug fixes) is provided at Code Blowing’s discretion and may be offered as part of an optional support plan. Check the product page for support & update terms.

7. License Transfer

  • A license can be transferred to a third party only when the entire Template package and all rights are transferred and the original purchaser no longer uses the Template. Contact Code Blowing to arrange and record license transfers. Transfer terms may require payment or approval.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Refund policies vary by marketplace and payment platform. Check the product page or purchase receipt for the applicable refund policy. Code Blowing reserves the right to deny refunds in cases of license misuse.

9. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Template remain with Code Blowing and its licensors. The license grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Template under the terms above.

10. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • Templates are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Code Blowing does not warrant that Templates are error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Code Blowing’s total liability to you for any damages arising from the Template is limited to the amount you paid for the Template.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Code Blowing harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your breach of this License Policy or your use of the Template (including third-party claims related to content you add).

12. Examples — Allowed vs. Not Allowed (Quick)

Allowed:

  • Use Template to build a custom e-commerce site for client A and hand over the finished site (Single-Site).
  • Use Developer license to build 5 client sites.

Not allowed:

  • Uploading the original Template files to a marketplace for sale or free download.
  • Packaging the Template as part of a downloadable “theme bundle” for resale (unless you have an Extended License).
  • Letting customers of your SaaS download the Template source files.

13. Third-Party Assets (Fonts, Icons, Images)

Some Templates include third-party assets subject to separate licenses. You must comply with those third-party license terms. If an included asset requires attribution or restricts commercial use, that restriction applies independently of this License Policy.

14. How to Obtain an Extended / Redistribution License

If you want to resell, redistribute, or combine Templates into a product that will be distributed in source form, contact Code Blowing at the email or website below. Provide:

  • Template name(s)
  • Intended use (resale, marketplace, SaaS, bundle)
  • Estimated distribution volume

We will advise pricing and terms.

15. Governing Law & Changes to Policy

This License Policy is governed by the laws indicated on the product page or the marketplace where the Template was purchased. Code Blowing may update this policy from time to time; the version at the top shows the latest revision date.
